Partnering with SAFE Busselton
One of our recent community engagement efforts involves partnering with SAFE Busselton, a remarkable organisation dedicated to saving animals from euthanasia. SAFE (Saving Animals From Euthanasia) Busselton is a not-for-profit registered animal welfare charity and the only domestic animal rescue group in the Busselton and Margaret River region that rehabilitates and rehomes both cats and dogs.
SAFE Busselton operates without a shelter, using a foster carer model where animals waiting to be adopted live with people in their homes. This model is sustained by the dedication of passionate volunteers and foster carers who provide invaluable services by giving abandoned and neglected animals a second chance at life.
Supporting SAFE Busselton Volunteers
We know it's a small token compared to the incredible work they do, but being able to offer free coffee to the volunteers is a small way we can show our appreciation for their dedication. To acknowledge and appreciate the work of SAFE Busselton volunteers, Margaret River Roasting Co. is offering complimentary cups of coffee from our café for the year. Volunteers will receive a special code to redeem their free coffee, a small gesture to thank them for their selfless contributions to our community.

SAFE Busselton is part of a larger network under SAFE Inc., consisting of 11 branches throughout regional Western Australia. The organization depends heavily on donations and fundraising to continue its operations. Volunteers and foster carers play a crucial role in this mission, providing care and shelter to animals in need. SAFE Busselton is always in need of more cat and dog carers, and they welcome new volunteers who want to make a difference.
