Featuring the talented:
Brian Shields
Affectionately known as “Buddha,” Brian is a standout performer in the Perth comedy scene. A seasoned MC and high energy comic, he is known for quick crowd work and strong storytelling that keeps rooms fully engaged.
Brian has opened for:
- 3 time Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe winner Jeremy Piven
- Chris D’Elia
- Maz Jobrani
He also co hosts the popular Grin Reapers Podcast and regularly headlines shows across Western Australia.
Jon Pinder
British-born, Perth-based, and permanently unimpressed by everyday Australian life, which is exactly why it's so funny coming out of his mouth. Jon is a resident comic at Comedy Lounge Perth and a Friday morning regular on 96FM's Botica's Bunch.
Jon is known for:
- Dry, deadpan takes on the absurdities of Aussie life
- Hosting the Kings & Vagabonds podcast
He also moonlights as a tattoo artist, so he's used to making people wince and laugh in the same sitting.
Gareth McKean
Loud, energetic and completely unapologetic, Gareth turns being a dad, a husband and a 25 year middle manager into full rooms of laughter. He's sold out three Perth Fringe seasons and can MC a gala dinner without letting it go off the rails.
Gareth is known for:
- Three sold-out Perth Fringe seasons (2021 to 2023)
- Touring WA as one third of comedy trio Flannel Panel, 15,000 kilometres deep
He also runs a Donald Trump impersonation act, because apparently one persona wasn't enough.
Nola Bliss
Started stand-up at 50 because life clearly hadn't given her enough material yet. Nola paused her career to run a hotel, came back in 2024, and immediately finished runner-up in Australia's Funniest Boomers.
Nola is known for:
- Her solo show Comedy for the Ladies, an unfiltered take on marriage, kids and womanhood
- Proving the loudest laugh of the night can come from the least expected act on the bill
